  2. We only take on projects we believe in, so we commit to them whole-heartedly. Not incidentally, we attract exceptionally talented staff, who want to work for more than just money.
  3. We don't use proprietary technology or restrictive contracts to trap clients into long-term relationships. We "trap" them by making them happy. For example, if you hire us for web development we are likely to use the Drupal content management system, which is open source and free of licensing fees. If you ever want to move your site to another developer, you can, and everything we've done will still work.
  4. We listen very, very well. We like to start our projects out with a charrette: a creative brainstorming and master planning session. This is a great way to comprehensively envision the project and what we can accomplish as a collaborative team. It involves big sheets of paper and lots of color post-it notes. It's a terrific way to make sure you end up with a clear vision, well thought-out information architecture and a strong framework from which to build.
  5. We tell the truth. We don't propose ideas we don't think are excellent solutions to your specific needs. You won't find yourself getting three "comps" and trying to guess which is the one we actually like.
